KCG Workshop with Lisa Englebrecht

It's now been about 2 weeks since our workshop with Lisa Englebrecht. We had two full days in Shelbyville, KY of learning funky lettering, painting on paper as well as fabric, and all the wonderful tips you learn from an experienced teacher like Lisa. We were introduced to different kinds of ink, intense pencils, cool glitter markers, and tools that we haven't played with before. That's the beauty of a workshop. We all enjoyed having Lisa come teach.

All of this was possible because of two people: Paula Hardesty and Leslie McCarthy. Paula orchestrated all the plans of bringing Lisa to teach and Leslie generously donated studio space above her shop "Making Ends Meet 2" in Shelbyville, KY. Leslie also opened her home for Lisa to stay while she was here. A Big THANK YOU to you both. We couldn't have done it without you.

I also just read on Lisa's blog about her stay in Kentucky. Go take a look. It's listed right on our home page.
