September Meeting

Our September meeting was, as usual, full of conviviality and information. Connie will be doing a journal demo Sept. 25, 1 to 3, at Preston's on Bardstown Road. Gaye would like us to be thinking about what artist we would want to invite for a weekend class.
Leslie McCarthy taught us a Japanese paper cutting technique called Notan.

    Last night was really fun cutting those cool positive/negative spaces. A really neat look. Thanks so much Leslie for sharing your class with us. And Connie just emailed me with a suggestion of bringing back Anne Bagby for our workshop. She has such incredible energy in her classes. Thanks Connie for the suggestion.
    And just an update on Diana's grandson Harrison: He still hasn't had a seisure yet but is holding his own with all those tubes and procedures. It's so hard when they are young. We're thinking about you ALL.
